I got a new account because I got all fidgety about the name of this one. It's like...why have a Japanese name if I'm not Japanese?!!? It's kinda lame. LOL. I don't identify with it. So last weekend was incredible. I flew to Portland, Oregon, and visited ~Aoringo and *Aeyoqen and we basically just ran around the city for three days. We crashed in Ré's dorm room---thanks to her roomie ~alienstars2004 for putting up with the two extra loafers in her space =] We visited the Saturday market where I, sadly, bought nothing (shoulda gotten the frog mug), went to Powell's Bookstore with Ré's pal ~shadowed-light-waves, and saw a lovely Japanese Garden. I could scarcely believe how relaxed I was---usually I don't do so well on vacations--- and by the time I got back to Long Beach, I had forgotten all my homework and schedule and everything because I had such a wonderful time just playing with two of my FAVORITE girls in the world. I didn't realize how much I missed them until I left them again. I LOVE YOU RÉ and JESS!!!!!
Next time, Ré, you and I are going to see J in SJ. It's fate, I tell ya.

Oh yeah. I went to the pet store again yesterday. The chinchilla was still there...in his cage... and he was on sale!!! Instead of $160 he was $135. I was so tempted...
Jess suggested I get a gecko. That would be cool. Or a chameleon. Now I've brought up the silly pet subject again. NOOO!

Hey buds,
So after all the helpful info that people have been giving me about this chinchilla business, I think I've decided AGAINST adopting a chinnie. They need a cool environment, in which I definitely do NOT live, and lots of space, which I also cannot provide. A real tragedy, because I really wanted one. I just need something fluffy.
Any other ideas? How about a sugar baby?!? Whatever I get, I'll name it Vlinder or Frikkie, as per excellent advice given previously.

Maybe I just need a boyfriend. They can at least bathe themselves.

Hey dudes and dudettes,
So I've been thinking about getting a pet. Not a serious pet, like a dog, and not a small pet, like a fish. I'm thinking something soft and fluffy. Not a bird. I was thinking... a chinchilla. Does anyone have any advice for chinchilla selection and overall useful information regarding that type of thing? ANYTHING??? I haven't had a real pet in a reeeeeally long time, so I'm pretty clueless about animals. Advice is cherished.

I moved a whole load of pieces from the gallery into scraps. If this messes up favorites or anything, I'm sorry. But a lot of stuff was just...embarrassing to look at. Hopefully I'll make up for it by putting *better* stuff in the gallery from now on. LOL
